Turning an education team’s lesson idea into an interactive prototype

The client understood teaching but could not bring separate hardware and software proposals together. YIIIOT developed the sensing, firmware and application as a complete activity the team could demonstrate and trial.

Illustrative story. The customer, conversation and outcome are examples, not a delivered customer project or measured result.

The education team needed its lesson turned into a product

The client wanted physical student actions to produce screen feedback while teachers followed progress. It had defined the lesson but did not have a complete hardware and software engineering team.

Separate supplier discussions had left interfaces and coordination unresolved. The client approached YIIIOT to take responsibility for the integrated teaching prototype.

We can explain the lesson. The hardware supplier asks us to define interfaces, and the software supplier wants the device finished first.

We asked the client to show us the lesson

Using teaching materials, props and demonstrations, YIIIOT defined student actions, intended feedback and teacher involvement as a sequence that could be developed and checked.

The first version covered one complete activity. It gave the teaching team something tangible to evaluate while we coordinated the technical interfaces.

YIIIOT developed the complete interaction

We developed sensing and feedback circuits, device firmware and the classroom application. Physical actions produced corresponding screen changes and teacher-visible activity states.

Resetting, changing users and finishing an activity were included. YIIIOT coordinated hardware and software revisions prompted by teaching feedback.

The client had a prototype to take into a classroom trial

In this example, YIIIOT resolved the gap between the client’s lesson design and an integrated product. The team received a prototype that completed the activity and could be tried with teachers and students.

Device instructions, application versions and activity materials stayed aligned. The client had a clear way to collect feedback and agree subsequent content or feature development with us.
