Helping a drone team get a stalled integration moving again

The client already had a flight-control board and software, but system integration had stalled. YIIIOT coordinated the investigation and corrected interface and version mismatches so the team could continue with a consistent configuration.

Illustrative story. The customer, conversation and outcome are examples, not a delivered customer project or measured result.

The client’s prototype existed before YIIIOT joined

A work-drone company brought its existing board, sensors and onboard equipment to YIIIOT. Separate modules had been tested, but combined behavior remained difficult to explain.

The client’s hardware, firmware and application staff investigated separately. We were commissioned to connect that work and resolve the cross-module obstacles to further development.

Each team has tested its own part, but the combined system still has a fault. Someone needs to examine the complete sequence.

We aligned the configuration and the incident

YIIIOT checked board, firmware, sensor and interface versions and selected an observable integration sequence. Equipment, timestamps and logs shared one reference.

We compared sensing, communication and control states with the client’s teams, establishing where behavior diverged without relying on repeated retelling.

YIIIOT corrected the interfaces and retested on the bench

We adjusted the relevant firmware and timing interactions, added logs and repeated the bench checks. Every change was associated with its board and software versions.

Completed bench checks were separated from later aircraft-specific validation. Flight and task testing remained staged around the client’s aircraft, conditions and safety requirements.

The client could continue from a shared result

In this example, YIIIOT removed the integration blockage caused by disconnected records and mismatched interface changes. The client received a bench-retested version and an explicit issue history.

Interface documentation, test procedures and remaining validation accompanied the prototype. Later development had a clear starting point, with no implication that bench testing established flight readiness.
