Helping a toy brand make its existing voice prototype more coherent

The client had a talking prototype, but real play exposed missed speech, interruptions and lost responses. YIIIOT coordinated audio, firmware and voice-service changes to improve interruption and recovery behavior.

Illustrative story. The customer, conversation and outcome are examples, not a delivered customer project or measured result.

The client brought an already-developed voice prototype

A toy brand came to YIIIOT with its existing prototype. It answered carefully paced demonstration questions but struggled when children interrupted, asked continuously or moved around.

The client had invested in the enclosure, board and software and wanted those experience problems addressed before proceeding. We were commissioned to coordinate device and voice-service improvements.

The demo goes well. Then a child picks it up and we have to restart it. We cannot ask parents to keep doing that.

YIIIOT reviewed the awkward conversation with the client

We compared a complete trial recording with capture, playback and response timing, then aligned device, network and service logs.

This located gaps in capture, request delivery and playback. YIIIOT coordinated the related changes so the client could discuss the experience as a whole.

We completed listening, interruption and recovery behavior

Within the existing hardware constraints, YIIIOT revised capture-playback switching, interruption and timeout handling, service integration and useful status responses.

Waiting, disconnection and recovery were tested alongside continuous questions, movement and network changes. Revisions retained their corresponding versions and records.

The client’s prototype could carry the interaction forward

In this example, YIIIOT resolved incomplete voice-state coordination in the client’s prototype. Listening, replies and recovery followed a coherent sequence in the agreed trials, with indications during waits or connection problems.

The client received a version for further trials, retest information and remaining observations. Its product and support teams could continue from a shared record.
